As the first month of 2026 draws to a close, we reflect on a cycle marked by massive technical milestones and long-awaited improvements.
January has been a month of rebuilding foundations, refining systems, and preparing Beyond Horizons for the journey ahead.
World Updates
• The Valefun Storage System has been officially introduced to our Slimefun gamemode, completely overhauling the storage experience and replacing legacy systems known for unreliability.
• A full rewrite of Slimefun block storage has been completed, delivering a far more stable and performant foundation for all automation systems.
• Our Technical Team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to identify, address, and resolve long-standing issues - ensuring a smoother, more reliable experience for everyone.
• Special thanks to Pter0x for their impeccable work and dedication in helping rebuild Slimefun from the ground up.
They are forged through patience, vision, and craft.
Survival News & Beyond The Vale
Based on feedback from our survival community, the Technical Team will be introducing major changes to Beyond The Vale to better support all playstyles - including those who prefer a more traditional experience.
Players will soon be able to freely travel between two primary overworlds:
• Valesthea - Our custom world generation experience.
• Horizon - A new vanilla-generated overworld, themed within the Beyond The Vale universe.
Both worlds will be fully protected from resets. The RTP system will be updated, and the spawn portal will now default to the vanilla overworld while keeping all major features available across both realms.
